Ebony Haywood is a visionary leader in people operations with over 15 years of experience in transforming human resources teams and enhancing organizational culture. Her expertise spans across adult learning and training, talent acquisition, HR operations, and instructional design. She has a proven track record of spearheading impactful initiatives that foster employee development and improve retention. Ebony's strategic mindset and collaborative nature have enabled her to successfully partner with stakeholders and clients, driving synergies and best practices to achieve organizational goals. She is a champion of diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging, continuously innovating to create a more inclusive workforce.

Throughout her career, Ebony has held several leadership roles where she has led the learning agenda focused on manager training and effectiveness, partnering with new and seasoned leaders to achieve strategic goals. Her responsibilities have included managing the Learning and Development program, designing training programs in collaboration with subject matter experts, and driving strategic plans for development processes across the company.

 

Ebony holds a Master of Education in Adult Education & Training from the University of Phoenix and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Elementary Education from Meredith College. She is certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR), an Adobe Captivate Specialist and obtained a Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Solutions certification from UNC. Her professional achievements include the successful implementation of learning management systems, the establishment of new performance management systems, and leading HR functions through mergers and acquisitions. Ebony's dedication to fostering a positive and productive workplace has earned her recognition, including a spot in Security Systems News' "40 under 40" and an alumnae spotlight in Meredith College Magazine.

 

She lives in Raleigh, NC with her daughter, Emery! When she's not being a busy mom and leader, she enjoys traveling and spending time with her family!
